Sam turned one yesterday! This past year has just flown by, and I have, for the most part, loved every minute of it! Sam has truly been a blessing and a joy to have in our family. Most nights, when I cuddle him to sleep I try to memorize the feel of his cute little baby body in my arms and I thank Heavenly Father for the opportunity to be a mommy once more! Sam has changed our family in many small and wonderful ways. Will loves to play the mother hen so much more than he realized and James actually has discovered that he likes babies! I can't imagine how our family ever got on without him :)
We had a fun little party yesterday to celebrate our Sammy. We appreciate those who joined in the fun with us and we missed those who were unable to be there. Sam had so much fun, he forgot he was wearing a hat for almost 10 whole minutes! He had his first cake yesterday, opened presents and he managed to climb on top of Ethan, kiss him right on the mouth and then for unknown reasons he cried on him. Ethan was very obliging! Absolutely the cutest! I wish we were there! I can't believe that was Samuel on top of Ethan....AMAZING! Hmmm, maybe I should clarify and say Samuel giving his little cousin Ethan a cute little kiss. But at any rate Ethan sure is growing up quick! Thanks for the little slide show!! makes me sad, but glad--know what I mean. (well, maybe when YOUR the granny!)
